They have a short, smooth coat that sheds moderately (meaning more than you might think), but requires little grooming. Brush weekly, bathe only when dirty, trim toenails monthly and keep their ears clean and dry. They also drool, a lot! Get in the habit of carrying a hand towel to wipe up the slobber.
